This vision is brought alive by our commitment to sustainable practices, right from the concept design of our artworks & curations to their production planning, long term functioning at all spaces and promoting our local artists.
Decorarts Atelier works with 50+ village based artisans many of who are uneducated with no grounds to promote their work and talent. By generating employments to these artisans and empowering women we contribute to upgrading their family livelihood
The company also provides training to these village based artisans on timely basis to further polish their talents and making them more educated towards the global trends in arts and crafts and helping them promote their work through our projects.
Our products and material used to creating sculptures and many other art elements comes from recycled metals, residues from wood factories in creating solid boards, scraps of glass, old vintage furnitures and treated age-old wood planks and many other sustainable materials.
Our works can be defined as sustainable as they are made up of up-cycled materials, found objects, and are made through processes that do no damage to the earth’s resources. These creations, along with the ways they are made, seek to highlight environmental degradation, along with the stark reality of climate change.
Our work also combines different materials ranging from found objects to organic elements to create works that recall traditional influenced art and architecture. Rocks, minerals, clay and wrecks of concrete are painted over using plant based dyes and reconstructed into beautiful abstract forms. These works seek to explore themes surrounding nature and cosmology.
